NOTE: Long standing brands who go out of business are often purchased in bankruptcy court. For example, the Circuit City brand name, logo, and website were purchased by Systemax Inc. for $14,000,000. While circuitcity.com is up and running with the same domain and logo, circuit city gift cards purchase before March 31st, 2009 are not honored by the new operators of the Circuit City brand; they are therefore worthless.
